Obsidian Estates was founded in 2009 by Victoria Hargrove and Sebastian Martel — two former private banking advisors who saw a gap in the luxury property market: ultra-high-net-worth clients were underserved by traditional agencies ill-equipped for their complexity and privacy requirements.

What began as a boutique Manhattan firm handling a handful of discreet transactions annually has grown into one of the world's most respected names in ultra-prime real estate — with offices in New York, London, Monaco, Dubai, and Singapore.

Our approach has never changed: fewer clients, deeper relationships, extraordinary outcomes. We do not advertise our inventory to the public. We do not compete on volume. We compete on excellence.
